For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

In Joshua 10:1-13 five kings made war against Gibeon because Gibeon had made peace with the Israelites. The five kings made war against the Gibeonites, Joshua and the children of Israel. So Joshua and the Israelites came from Gilga and God told Joshua: “Fear not for I will deliver them into your hand.” Joshua and the Israelites fought and slew the enemy with a great slaughter but as the enemy fled God sent down hailstones and killed even more of them by hailstone than had been killed by the sword.
God did a little cheat there and he sent some stones from heaven upon your enemies and the ones you were trying to kill were not even as many as the Lord took care of by himself.
In verses 12 and 13 Joshua spoke to God and told the sun to stand still and the moon to stop until the people had revenge upon their enemies. I just want you to see the strange things that the Lord did here, he cast down heavy stones upon the enemies, the five kings, that stood against the children of Israel, the Bible says He sent hailstones. After that had been done, Joshua commanded the sun to stand still and the sun stayed for a whole day and the moon did not move for a whole day.
Some people don’t like strange things. They like regular, normal, and natural things. They like things they can relate to and are familiar with. The Lord has told me to tell you that what He is going to do in your life is not just going to be the regular things in 2017. It’s going to be something strange that will surprise you and surprise the people around you. What God is going to do in your life, home and business is not going to be the natural thing but something supernatural. Something not ordinary but extraordinary. It’s going to be something that will amaze you and dumbfound those around you. You need strange works, strange acts, and strange breakthroughs!
Isaiah 28:21 says God will rise up for you as He did at the mountain of Perazim, He will be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon that He may do His work, His strange works and His acts, His strange acts. God will rise up for you in the time of your need for breakthrough.
One thing the enemy will always try to do in your life is to cage you, to keep you restrained, restricted, confined, and to tell you what kind of life you can live. That’s why when you apply for anything the first thing they do is to give you an application to complete. What is your age bracket? Are you single or married? Are you low-income or no income? Because the system of this world always tries to cage you into a box, into something they can come to terms with. The worst part is that the world does it so much that we can start to cage ourselves into a defined structure that we cannot live beyond.
We create an invisible cage for ourselves, an invisible wall. When people say think outside the box I tell them that is not the right word – the point is there is no box in the first place because the Bible says the earth is the Lord’s – there is no box to think outside of. But the world creates a box in our lives and around us to cage you financially and economically and say this is the level that you can get to. This is what you can do. This is how far that person that has your academic level can go. This is how much they can earn and how far they can rise. But the devil is a liar.
BREAK OUT OF THE BOX NOW!
God has not made you for the status quo. He wants you to break the limits. Are you a limit breaker? Can you say: I know who I am. I cannot fit into the standards of this world, the status quo or what the government system. I am above the system, the circumstances and what man can say. I’m tired of being put in a box. I want to express myself, spread my wings and fly. I want to get out of the place where the enemy has kept me.
In 2 Samuel 5:17, the Bible says that when David was set to be king of Israel the Philistines came against him but David went to the hold. The hold there means into the stronghold, into the place of prayer. The Bible says when David went into the hold, the stronghold, the place of prayer, he went and asked the Lord, ‘should I go against the Philistines? Will I conquer them?’ and the Lord said Go! for not one of them will be able to stand before you. When David went there and began to fight the Philistines the Lord gave him so much victory he said the word “Baal Perazim” which means the God of the breakthrough. When he broke through, it was an unstoppable breakthrough. Your kind of breakthrough is going to be a strange breakthrough. I’m talking about having the breakthrough of a baby without having a womb. I don’t want anything ordinary, I don’t want the natural. I want the supernatural.
