Bible Reading: Daniel 1:8-20
You have on your life the anointing of a limit breaker. I want you to own that prophetic word, own it, declare it, behave it, become it. I want you to live the reality of God’s Word.
The world is very systemic. When you look around, you will see that society is very structured. Everything that you see has been planned. Where the buildings are has been planned. The kind of economy that is prevalent in the region has been organized. Some people sat down to plan this city, the economy and to predict where the trend in society would be going. In fact, society doesn’t happen by coincidence; people make society happen.
It doesn’t matter what system they decide to adopt. It could be communism or capitalism or socialism but we know by the Word of God that the entire system of this world is under a Luciferian system. The word Luciferian is coined from the word lucifer. That means that it is controlled by a spiritual force essentially.
The Scripture says in 1 John 5:19
“We know that we are children of God and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one”.
Whether you realize it or not you will find that this Luciferian system is tailored to favor select individuals who are in agreement with the systems of the world.
There is a conflict of interest between what God’s Kingdom is and what the Kingdom of the world is. God’s Kingdom is from above. The Luciferian system of this world is from beneath.
Jesus clearly revealed in John 18:36
“Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
God’s Kingdom is the Kingdom where Christ Jesus reigns supreme and this Kingdom runs a completely different order, structure, laws, and agenda from the Luciferian system of the world. We have been adopted into the higher order of heaven’s kingdom. We might be here, but we do not belong here.
John 17:16 “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world”.
He has called us who were once in darkness into His marvelous light. The Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of peace, power, and prosperity and it is superior to the system of the world. There is prosperity, love, peace, power, and righteousness in the Kingdom of God.
John 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”,
For you to function effectively and enjoy the blessings of God’s Kingdom, you need to understand its system and live by that order.
In the days of Daniel, the Bible says they already created a mold and said that all the men that wanted to be in the king’s court had to eat a certain food, they had to dress and talk in a certain way. They even had to change their names. But when it came to the time of Daniel, Daniel said, ‘I’m not going to be a part of that. I have an anointing inside of me.’
“But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way”. Daniel 1:8
By Babylonian culture, the food was first sacrificed to idols before they brought it to the king and the king would not eat it until it was sacrificed before idols. Also, the food contained some kind of unclean animals to the Jewish faith, and of course, coupled with the strong alcoholic drink, it would defile Daniel and make him an unclean vessel for God’s use. But Daniel said, ‘I’m a child of God. I’m better than that. I’m not going to bow my knees to the idols of Babylon. I’m not going to be a part of that Babylonian system.
We also are confronted by the big choice of choosing to serve God and be His light in this post-modern culture or to compromise and live a life and conforms with the system of the world; that demonic system that keeps you working for nothing, that enslaves your life and you get old and die like everyone else.’ Daniel chose to be different, he stood out for God and for righteousness and God elevated him because of that. If we also decide to be God’s standard in a changing and compromising world, He will cause us to be the exception to the rules of limitation in our modern society.
Psalm 91:14,15 “Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high because he has known My name. 15″He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT YOU: THE ANOINTING
The Bible says that God granted Daniel favor and compassion, He granted him loving-kindness in the officials’ eyes. They looked at him and knew that something was different about Daniel. The people in this generation have to look at you and know that there is something different about you. They have to know there is an anointing on your life, that you are different from the rest of the pack. You represent a heavenly Kingdom, you have to let the conduct of your life reflect the righteousness and culture of heaven’s kingdom. Let the power of God’s Kingdom be revealed in you.
The Bible says that Daniel went to the eunuch and said he wouldn’t eat of the food and to try them for 10 days. To give him and his three friends that had teamed up with Daniel just vegetables and water for 10 days. After 10 days when the eunuch came back, the men who were eating only vegetables and drank just water looked healthier than the men eating the king’s food. There is something about the anointing that makes the impossible possible, that makes you the head and not the tail, that makes you a leader of this generation, that breaks the yoke of every limitation, that makes you better, ten times better.
TAKE YOUR WALK WITH GOD SERIOUSLY
Place priority on your Spirit-man. For many believers, their spirit man is suffering and they are running about in the arm of the flesh.
1 Samuel 2:9
“He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail”
It’s amazing. People of God, I want you to see the same realm that God is allowing me to walk in; where you have an advantage over the systems of the world by the principles of heaven. Somebody needs to take their prayer life seriously and unleash the supernatural power of God in the earth realm.
Daniel became a force to reckon with in the Babylonian palace. He became an insurmountable force. You know why? He was a man of the Spirit. A man of prayer, a man of fasting. He fasted for 21 days. Some people cannot fast for two days and want to have a Daniel destiny! He was a man who stood before the altar. He was so blessed in the Spirit that when they were going to conspire against him, they said the only matter that they could attack this man was in the matter of his God.
TAKE YOUR PRAYER LIFE SERIOUSLY
He was so upright they could not get anything against him. They said let’s make a law that nobody should pray. Daniel responded saying if it’s about that, I cannot obey. He was praying, they found him praying and took him and put him in the lion’s den. The lions were there waiting for him. Instead of the Claws of hungry lions eating up a man, the power of heaven reversed that order and the lions were disabled before God’s anointed man. The lions became “cushiony”.
When the power of God is working in you and you go to the lion’s den you will come back. Those who are plotting your downfall, where they think they have gotten you are where God is just getting ready to elevate you. You can boldly tell the enemy, What more attack do you have because it is written concerning me, No weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against me in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
TAKE THE WORD OF GOD SERIOUSLY
You need to take the word of God seriously.
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God”.
The Word of God is the constitution of the Kingdom of God. You need to sync your thought process with God’s Word and live by the higher principles of heaven.
Proverbs 6:21 “Bind them continually on your heart; Tie them around your neck. 22When you walk about, they will guide you; When you sleep, they will watch over you; And when you awake, they will talk to you”.
TAKE GIVING TO GOD’S WORK SERIOUSLY
Take your tithing seriously. Whenever the enemy wants to attack your finances, he begins to tell you to not pay your tithe. You know what happens to you when you start to not tithe? You disconnect yourself from the Heavenly flow of blessing and you plug yourself into the Luciferian system of society that will never get you anywhere because it’s programmed to keep you hustling. But God says that He can bless you from heaven.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19).
Plug, through tithing, into Heaven’s increase. The tithe is a mystery. I don’t understand it. When you tithe heaven just open, people just bless you. Some of you have never seen Kingdom prosperity because you’ve never tithed. You are going higher this year. Take God seriously and let Him raise you. He will raise you higher.
This is the year for you. No more games with your spiritual life and living right. You have to live right and in holiness. No more games with your giving and tithing. No more games with your prayer life and the Word of God. Your obedience is for you. Your holiness is not for God. Your decision to live right is not for God, it’s for you.
Walking in purity is for you not for God. He is holy already. Your holiness will not make Him more holy. To rise up and pray is for you. It’s for your advantage to be faithful. When you engage the laws of heaven, you have dominion on earth. You will succeed where others are failing and you will rise when the rest of the world is falling down like dry leaves. This is your season to receive the anointing of a limit breaker and defy the odds of this world.
Job 22:23 – If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
- 24 Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
- 25 Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defense, and thou shalt have plenty of silver. 26 For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
- 27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
- 28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
- 29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up, and he shall save the humble person.
- 30 He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.
