Your victory in Christ is not designed to be occasional but a daily lifestyle. God wants you to be victorious in all things and at all times. You don’t have to wait until you get hit and pushed down by life’s circumstances and then use your victory anointing as a lifeline out of trouble. You can be victorious on a deeper level where you don’t even have to fall into a pit or get entangled by the enemy. There is such a remarkable light that comes with revelation. And the greater your revelation, the brighter the light you will walk in. You can possess the revelation of healing and believe God that He will heal you from all illnesses – for the bible says,
“He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24; AMP).
This is a remarkable revelation and it is okay to start from this point but don’t stay there. You can move on to the next level and receive the revelation for a lifestyle of health where you don’t have to fall sick at all. This is why the bible says, “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]“ (3 John 2; AMP).
The grace for good health is superior to the grace for healing. This is the realm that Christ operated in when He walked the earth. It was never recorded that Jesus was sick and couldn’t make one of His services. Pull yourself out of survival mode and enter into the higher realm of the Spirit where you are thriving and excelling in righteousness. Choose to walk in abundance instead of believing the Father for daily bread. Manifest kingdom authority (exousia) over demonic spirits and move in a realm where you are untouchable – this realm is superior to kingdom power (dunamis) which empowers you in your combat against the enemy. Move higher! There is always a greater realm in the Kingdom and only those who are constantly seeking more will continue to go from glory to glory. This is evident in the book of Jeremiah 33:3, which says “Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish” (AMP).
I declare that a fresh revelation of the deeper realms of God will be activated in your spirit in this new season. Receive a higher revelation of prosperity, health, anointing, the manifestation of God’s power in your life, and the workings of miracles in Jesus Christ Name.
There are four dimensions of victory in Christ and your access to this revelation can pull you through to the highest level of victory instantly and take the expression of the life of God in you to a whole different level. Praise God.
“They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; Each of them appears before God in Zion” (Psalm 84:7; AMP).
God wants you to go beyond, knowing that you are blessed potentially!
1. Potential Victory
The first realm of victory is God’s special gift which is made available to all His children. It is the inheritance made available through the sacrifice of Christ. “Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs [crucified] on a tree (cross)” (Galatians 3:13; AMP).
The term potential is defined as having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something. It also connotes what is possible or what can be yours. It’s like having access to an inheritance, however, the deed must be executed for it to be validated. Every Christian has this potential victory; it is God’s will for you bought at the costly price of the death of Jesus Christ but it doesn’t end there it needs to be activated. Oddly so, many believers stop at this level. They possess the greatest treasure chest but they never use the keys of the kingdom to open it and enjoy the benefits of redemption. Many are potentially wealthy in Christ but they continue to wallow in poverty because they lack the revelation of supernatural provision and even abundance. God wants you to go beyond knowing that you are blessed potentially, He wants you to experience this blessing in your life in a real and practical way. Let me show you how!
2. Potent Victory
Now let’s take that potential victory and make it potent by activating the power of covenant. Covenant simply means agreement with God. That potential blessing has been completed by the Father. He has finished all that is required on His part. Now the ball of victory is in your court. You have to make it yours by walking in covenant partnership with God. When I hear Christians say, “I am waiting on God”. My response always is, “To do what”? He has already finished everything. His final words on the cross were, “It is finished” (John 19:30; KJV). So when you were waiting on God, He was actually waiting on you. Yes, God is waiting on you right now to activate His covenant in your life.
Why do you need to activate God’s Covenant to make His victory potent in your life?
- 1. God needs your co-operation to bless you.
God never forces His will on us even as His children. You have to receive what He has provided. There has to be a horizontal alignment – that earthly connection to connect to the vertical alignment – God’s connection. Miracles are not just God’s intervention to man’s situation but they are also man’s response of faith to God’s promise and power.
- 2. Covenant activates your faith and bring you into God’s realm of reality.
Faith is the link to God’s miracle-working anointing. Covenant brings faith alive. You can’t receive anything from God without faith (Hebrews 11:6), and you can’t have faith in Him with Whom you have no agreement. Covenant also activates the law of heaven and suspends the protocol of the natural. Genesis 5:24 “And [in reverent fear and obedience] Enoch walked with God; and he was not [found among men], because God took him [away to be home with Him”. God defied the law of mortality and caused Enoch to ascend into His eternal Presence because He walked in covenant partnership with God.
- 3. Covenant activates obedience to God’s Word.
Obedience comes alive through covenant. God is honored when we walk in obedience. When you love the unlovable and forgive those who offend you because God’s Word says so and you want to honor the Father- He is delighted. Tithing activates a heavenly law of supernatural supply on a level that is beyond the provision of daily bread. It’s a demonstration of covenant walk and obedience. It moves the hand that moves the world. Declare with faith, “Lord let me respond with faith and obedience to what you have already provided for me. Let God’s covenant come alive in my life in Jesus Christ Name.
3. Positional Victory
Our victory is in Jesus! Every blessing in God is a function of alignment in the right positioning. It’s like finding the right radiofrequency.
If you are not on the right frequency, you can’t pick the right signal and enjoy the right sound. There is a sound of victory in your life today. All the victory you need is in Christ and once you are engrafted in Him, you also will manifest His victory.
“And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus, 7 [and He did this] so that in the ages to come He might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus [by providing for our redemption” (Ephesians 2:6-7; AMP).
There is no breakthrough in a drive-through. For you to manifest your positional victory, you must abide in Him Stay in His Presence. Don’t leave the secret place – that is where you will find joy and strength. No devil can cross the line of the glory realm and touch you.
I love the way the hymn writer Adrienne Camp puts this truth in the hymn In Christ Alone,
“No power of hell, no scheme of man can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home here in the power of Christ, I’ll stand”
When you walk away from God’s Presence, you become vulnerable; an easy target for the enemy. Stay in the righteousness of God. Continue in corporate worship among the family of God. Abide in obedience to God’s Word. When you are in Him you are covered, defended, and preserved. This is one of the amazing ways to live a lifestyle of victory. Declare by faith, “Lord, plant my feet in Your Presence. Seal my heart to Your courts. I don’t want to stray or wander off. I am victorious always in Christ”.
4 Possessing Victory
The first three steps of victory will ultimately bring you to the fourth dimension of victory where you possess the tangibility of your inheritance to the maximum. At this point of victory, you now become the embodiment of that life of grace, power, and possibility that Christ died for. The Apostle Paul , leaving everything behind, became resolute in his pursuit to become the embodiment of the life Christ died for. Like a runner with a purpose he declared, “…I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:12; NASB 1995).
You will lay hold of what God laid hold on you to manifest. It becomes yours and you will also lead others into their own inheritance. Your family will be blessed because of your lifestyle of obedience and covenant walk with God. A whole generation can be blessed by the anointing and the expression of the Divine life in you.
“Who by faith [that is, with an enduring trust in God and His promises] subdued kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promised blessings, closed the mouths of lions, 34 extinguished the power of [raging] fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became mighty and unbeatable in battle, putting enemy forces to flight” (Hebrews 11:33-34; AMP).
- Abraham possessed his promise and became the father of nations
- David reverenced God and became a friend of God
- Paul was focused and believed God for the impossible, he finished his cause.
- You will also possess your promises and make God’s victory your lifestyle until it becomes your legacy. This is your season!
“But on Mount Zion [in Jerusalem] there shall be [deliverance for] those who escape, And it shall be holy [no pagan will defile it], And the house of Jacob shall possess their [former] possessions. (Obadiah 1:17; AMP).
