Pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 1:18-20)
Every region of the world has controlling demonic spirits that seek to dominate the way of life and destiny of the people living within that region. God has shown me some common satanic agenda perpetuated by territorial spirits; in case you haven’t noticed I want to open the eyes of your understanding to the operation of these demonic forces and give you an understanding of its mission, its objective and its assignment. Satan’s number one mission is to control every sphere of human society. The atmosphere determines the environment and the lifestyle of the people. That’s why the Bible labels satan as the prince of the power of the air.
“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience”. (Ephesians 2:2)
The enemy understands this strategy that whoever controls the air or the atmosphere controls the destinies of people. You can not be ignorant of this revelation. You have to take authority over territorial spirits daily. Whenever God is about to do something He begins by shifting things in the atmosphere because as long as everybody operates under the influence of the power of the air, the demonic forces that control that region will continue to have a dominant influence. There are all kinds of dimensions with God. We are all in God but we are on different levels.
God told Abraham to look at the sky and see the stars and as the number of the stars so would his children be. The same God told Abraham to look to the sea and as the number of the sand is so would his children be. So we have the seed of Abraham in two dimensions. Those who are like the stars in heaven – People have to look up to see them – and those who are like the sand of the sea. Do you know what you do to the sand of the sea? You trample on it. Some people are in covenant with God, they are born again, they are saved, but they choose to live like the sand. These people walk through life in ignorance and really connect with the Word of God. They go through the experiences of their lives like the sand. When other people are giving testimonies, it is very strange to them.
REPOSITION YOURSELF TO THE NEXT LEVEL BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
When somebody is saying that God just opened a door for them – the door of a job. They are like, really, can God do that too? Yes, yes He can. These folks are walking in ignorance so they are like the sand of the sea. Some of Abraham’s children are like the stars. They keep shining, they keep soaring. I’ve asked God what is the secret that makes you a star and not a sand? The Lord says it is a question of revelation. Some things are not only about making it to heaven, it boils down to you living the life God wants you to live on earth. You can go to heaven, broken, poor. Some people are killed by witches or defeated by dark powers but because they are saved they’ll go to heaven. However, the enemy would have defeated God’s purposes for their lives.
Come out of the shallow waters. I told you earlier that there are territorial demonic spirits that control every city of the world. For example, this region of Calgary is controlled by the spirit of the average, the ordinary. It is very strong over the city of Calgary. Most parts of the world that I’ve been, I noticed that many people are engaged in profitable businesses. Out of 10 people I know in Nigeria, seven of them own businesses and they are not poor. I know a lot of people in the United States and out of 10 people I know there, seven out of 10 own businesses. I know quite a lot of people in Calgary, out of 10 people I know in Calgary, only 0.5 % own any business. It’s a demonic influence of apathy that is over this region. The region is under a demonic influence that keeps people under a shallow form of existence. Many people are living ordinary lives. Most people’s biggest dream is to buy a house, and it’s by debt, or to buy a nice car, which is also by debt. People are living from pay cheque to pay cheque. It’s the demonic influence of the average.
This is our moment, our destiny, our city and we are claiming it back!
You are called to contend and prevail over territorial demonic spirits in the region where you live. It doesn’t matter what is going on in the earth realm, what matters is where you stand in the spirit. If you dwell in the deeper waters of the Spirit you will not be affected by what’s going on in the shallow waters. God told me to raise the people in this region who are above the system. How are we going to be above the system? The key is to walk in Kingdom covenant principles. My heart is so heavy because I feel the beat of God’s heart over our lives. We are not getting what He wants us to have. It seems as if God’s people are settled for the normal and are boxed into the status quo with our days literally passing and we secularize everything. When people hear something they interpret it in the physical context and we are meant to be people of the Spirit. Demons like to hide. If you fail in God you will fail in life. Your God connection controls your life. Are you tired of the poverty limitation and staying on the same level all the time?
Let the glory start in your life and in your spirit. This is our moment, our destiny, our city and we are claiming it back. We are claiming back our lives, our children, our prosperity, our joy, our marriages and our anointing. We’re taking back our peace. I see a new wave of glory, a new anointing coming. Things are about to change in your life. Make 2022 the year of your breakthrough. It’s going to start with how you handle God. Let your attitude toward God change this year!
